Celebrate our history and look towards the future!

Join us at the Bicentennial Block Part on Saturday, October 4th from 3-7 PM at the Court House in Downtown Peoria.

Peoria County invites you to celebrate its 200th anniversary with a block party to remember! On October 4th, the streets will be filled with fun, food, music, and community spirit. The County will mark this milestone with a special dedication and a memorable lighting ceremony at the Courthouse Plaza. The day will feature live music and entertainment, family-friendly activities like games, art, and animal exhibits, as well as opportunities to explore unique displays and take home commemorative merchandise. Local food and drinks will be available for purchase, including special beverages and treats from across the county. All events and entertainment are free.

This celebration is a chance to honor Peoria County’s rich history while we prepare to look ahead to an exciting future with Peoria 200+. We can’t wait to see you there!
